Biblical Marriage Policy

It is the position of Lamenting Faith Retreat ministry that sexual intimacy outside the bonds of monogamous, heterosexual marriage are prohibited by scripture and therefore contrary to our statement of faith. We believe that upholding these standards in conduct are important to our ministry. We do, however, seek to provide hope and encouragement to grieving and hurting people. As we seek to extend the grace of God to all, Lamenting Faith Retreat Ministry will require that the conduct of those attending our retreats be consistent with our beliefs. Parents who are not in a Biblically based marriage are welcome to attend our retreats; however, they will be assigned separate guest rooms during the retreat weekend. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Hebrews 13:4, Romans 1:24-27
